Shir-Ra Room

The Shir-Ra Room is an elegant yet versatile private room that accommodates larger groups of up to 100 people or can be divided to accommodate smaller parties for any occasion. Our rectangular, 4-foot tables can be arranged in banquet rows, “U”- or “E”-shaped configurations, conference-style tables or individually to seat up to eight people per table. We are happy to provide a projection screen for your meeting if requested.

Tommy-Suz Beer Garden

With a more casual feel, the Tommy-Suz Beer Garden is a hot spot for good times. This unique area, which features its own saloon, can accommodate up to 300 people for meetings, parties, weddings and special occasions. The décor is a mix of old-fashioned furnishings, antique gas pumps, signs, and other memorabilia mixed with a splash of contemporary neon. The Tommy-Suz Beer Garden has a small stage, projection screen and sound system with a handheld microphone. Tables can be arranged in banquet rows or individually to seat smaller groupings of four, six or eight people per table.

The Tommy-Suz Beer Garden is not available for private events on some Saturday evenings, due to our Saturday night prime rib buffet. It is also not available during the day some Sundays due to our Sunday brunch buffet. There is no additional fee for the use of our private banquet and meeting rooms; however, meal service is required. Applicable sales tax as well as a 15 percent gratuity is added for all private events. Wireless internet access is available throughout the restaurant, including in the private banquet and meeting rooms.

Chances “R” Restaurant and Lounge is well-known for off-premises, full-service catering. Our year-round service can cater from 25 to 5,000 people at any location in York and the surrounding areas, including Lincoln, Grand Island, Seward, and Columbus. We offer complete menu planning with an endless selection of delicious hors d’oeuvres, entrées and desserts, all served by a courteous and experienced staff.
